Germany - Lisa Meyer Landrut

As one of the Big Four, who have direct access to the Eurovision Final, along with Norway, France, Spain and The Uk, Germany is always seen as having a reasonable chance of success at thie event.  Meyer won a TV talent show to represent her country and the song 'Satellite' is written by a well known German who has had impressive domestic success.  A format which is clearly similar to the UK's decision to use an unknown and Waterman a successful music producer.
