Israel -  Harel Skaat

Like many of the artists performing at this year's Eurovision Harel has competed in Israeli competition 'A Star is Born' in 2004 and like Belgium's Tom Dice came second.  Coming second may not be a great recommendation but it does ensure high visibility within the domestic music scene and subsequently real support.  The song Milim received maximm points from judges and televoters alike and is gaining favour throughout Europe
