Israel - Dana International

Like most counties taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest the song and artist have been selected via a televised selection process. The act chosen was Dana International who caused controversy in she won the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest becoming the first transsexual to do so.

Dana International will try to get into the 2011 ESC final when they compete in the second semi final on May 12th 2011.
